The Madrid Book Fair is now underway, and this year it comes with the perfect plan for those who love travelling, reading… and laughing. From tomorrow until 14 June, El Retiro Park becomes the country’s cultural epicentre under the motto “Reading and laughing: two ways to resist”, with Renfe once again on board as the Official Train.

Renfe strengthens its commitment to culture by bringing the Book Fair closer to travellers from across Spain. Through its partnership with the organisers, initiatives such as the ‘Train of Culture’ turn the journey into part of the experience, connecting cities and readers comfortably, sustainably, and directly to the heart of Madrid.
Discounts for travelling to the Fair
To make travel easier for participants, Renfe is offering a 15% discount to registered exhibitors on tickets for AVE, Avlo, Alvia, Euromed and Intercity services on domestic routes. An ideal opportunity to move between cities while choosing rail as an efficient and responsible option.
A space for younger visitors
The ‘Avlo Pavilion’, located along the Paseo de Coches in El Retiro, will feature a children’s area with workshops and activities. A fun way to introduce younger audiences to the world of reading at one of the country’s most iconic cultural events.
